Debut solo album from the former Salmonella Dub frontman.
The haunting tones of traditional Maori instrumentation meet Tiki\'s well-practiced Dub-heavy production and prove to be a potent and natural combination. Complimenting the music and Taane\'s own considerable vocal and Mcing skills, \'Past, Present, Future\' also features some fine vocal support from a cast of very talented friends and Whanau including Fur Patrol\'s Julia Deans, Pdigsss of Shapeshifter fame and even his own Dad and Nana!
Ten years with Salmonella Dub – first working behind the board as their sonic-architect and later, working crowds to a frenzy at the front of the stage have served as something of an apprenticeship for Taane and set him up with ample skills to strike out on his own. And strike out he does - \'Past, Present, Future\' is an extremely strong first effort - musically daring, intensely personal and culturally significant.
