Latest version of a Stone Roses "greatest hits", and certainly the most accurate career overview. From their beginnings in 1989, the 'Roses (along with the Happy Mondays and Primal Scream) introduced the indie fans to the possibilities of dance music - and did so with a genuinely original sound. Fourteen years later tracks such as "Fools Gold", "I Am The Resurrection", "I Wanna Be Adored", "She Bangs The Drums" and "One Love" still sound fresh and exciting, underlying their brief but important contribution to pop music history (alongside acts such as the Sex Pistols, Public Enemy, Kraftwerk, etc, etc).
