Bob Marley's essential 'Exodus' album gets the mammoth reissue and remaster treatment care of Island and Universal. The first Marley album primarily recorded outside of Jamaica (the result of the shooting of himself, wife Rita and manager Don Taylor) allowed access to what at the time was state-of-the-art production, a more spacious sound, which in turn finally got Marley on to the mainstream radio waves in America gainning him the exposure he truely warranted. This deluxe set includes the original magnificent album, single B-Sides, alternate takes, selections from a 1977 promotional tour show in London and a handful of delicious Lee Perry produced cuts. Recently voted the 'Time Magazine Album Of The Century' this stunning album belongs in the collection of any true music fan. (smokecds.com)
